My background is textiles, spending 25 years painting and creating colourful stylised living/kitchen ware. Over the past 10 years I have worked with many fibres – merino, silk, cotton, hemp and paper. In 2002 I completed a Certificate of Fine Arts, from there Bookmaking became my new medium and I have never looked back. For me the next natural step was Printmaking of which I picked up in 2007.
I love the variety that printmaking brings, so many interesting techniques to create a print.
In the present I am enjoying Collagraphs, Woodcuts and Relief printing.
